This course covers the technical aspects of lighting, exposure, contrast control, lenses and composition for the digital image. From the creative side, the course emphasizes the craft of storytelling from the perspective of light and image. This will be accomplished through lectures, demonstrations, and practical hands-on workshops in the studio and on location using digital cinema cameras and a variety of film production lights and modifiers.
