This course introduces student to the television production team, tools & set up. Students will learn the entire studio television process: crews, facilities, technical formats, TV camera operation and aesthetics, switching, server ops, editing, audio, directing, producing, graphics, production management and studio producing. Students will employ the theories they have learned in a hands-on, in-studio environment to produce and participate in a variety of crew positions, during the creation of short info/news magazine style productions. Students will also be taught the tools for success in a team environment through exercises in communication, participation, and professional etiquette in order to achieve positive results.
