In this course, sound design and the technical aspects of audio signal routing, equalization, audio special effects, location recording techniques and sound studio design are considered. The course reinforces sound recording, editing and mixing skills. It also expands students' knowledge of the esthetics of sound in drama and documentary productions enabling students to demonstrate sound design proficiency through work on individual and group video productions.
