In this culminating applied project, students design integrated, data-driven financial solutions to solve real-world financial problems. Working individually or in teams, students will integrate tools such as Excel, R, Python, and SQL to build predictive models and conduct data analysis to generate actionable insights, automate financial processes, and optimize financial decision-making. Through case studies, industry-driven projects, and mentorship support, students gain hands-on experience as they bridge the gap between their technical, analytical, and solution-design skills. The final project culminates in a comprehensive written report and presentation, showcasing students readiness to operate at the intersection of financial technology and predictive analytics and to contribute meaningfully to innovation within the financial services sector.
