This course develops fundamental portrait techniques and further examines lighting, subject interaction and use of negative space. The student will develop a deeper understanding of the practice of portraiture, using ratios, lighting patterns and directing the client to meet the requirements of the brief. This course is designed to introduce the students to further uses of multiple lights, creating depth, and portable electronic flash.
