Building core competencies of previous courses, students explore behaviour modification and goal setting strategies before developing and refining the skills necessary to safely and effectively implement select exercises based on progression, goals, equipment availability, and experience. Students demonstrate specific techniques for the safe and effective performance of various exercise modalities and design personalized exercise prescriptions taking into consideration personalized health and wellness needs.
