Students engage in project development and social innovation by examining organizational philosophies, policies and practices, through involvement in self-initiated community service opportunities. Students critically examine an encompassing range of issues, which include but are not limited to personal philosophies, community building processes, globalization, urbanization, unique attributes, skills of community builders, and concepts of customer service within the community engagement process. Learning acquired from the academic course will be integrated with practical experiences that promote involvement in one's community.
