Students explore the theory and skills necessary to safely and effectively design and implement resistance training programs for personal health, wellness, as well as occupational demands. Students build on the competencies derived in other fitness and lifestyle management courses and analyze and apply of the principles of training, appropriate exercise and spotting technique, program design for muscular strength, power and endurance, as well as baseline and follow-up musculoskeletal assessment.
