Based on the skills and knowledge gained in previous courses, students apply appropriate health and wellness skills in order to continue to increase and/or maintain an overall physical and mental wellbeing and prepare for the rigors of a career in Fire Services. By semester end, students develop a comprehensive plan of action based on their knowledge of different topics covered in this course such as nutrition, mental health and physical activity in order to prepare for future careers in Fire Services.
