The results from effective interactive communication is vital to the success of the fundraiser and volunteer manager. Students will examine the role and practice of marketing, media relations and communications. Topics include market identification, segmentation and targeting, the marketing mix and writing for donors. Students will study and apply motivation strategies and tactics for specific audiences. An introduction of media relations will help prepare students to develop appropriate proactive and reactive communication to media. Presentations training will help students communicate with various audiences.
