Major and planned individual gifts dramatically transform non-profit organizations. They are central to capital campaigns, and they allow for long-term financial planning by building endowment funds. Although major and planned giving donors sometimes give through private foundations or privately held companies, the focus in this course is on individual giving. This course provides students with the technical competencies, role-playing experiences and psychological framework to be able to engage donors in these important dialogues and enables students to have the confidence to make the ask.
