This course is designed to introduce the basic principles of human biology for college level students. Selected topics relevant to the development of an understanding of the basic principles of biology will prepare the students to take more advanced courses in biology and health sciences programs. Students will also become familiar with basic biological laboratory techniques and experiments. Each experiment will provide an opportunity to interpret data which will help students apply the theoretical knowledge learned in each module.
