This course further explores the function and legibility of typography in communication design. Visual organization of typographic design (both intuitive and structured) will be applied for effective web and screen surfaces as this is a medium that is in constant change. The hierarchy of type for effective communication will be explored through applicable projects, and the student will acquire a broader scope of the history of typographic design through applied research.
