This course examines how socio-political, economic, geographic and cultural elements influence management and business outcomes in the major regions of the world. Each major geographic region of the world will be reviewed to understand the key drivers and trends that impact current economic trends and business practices. Topics include the roles of globalization, technology, immigration and economic development, cross-cultural management and effectiveness and strategy development in various and diverse international business environments. Students will develop a working knowledge of each region of the world as well as specific strategies for conducting business effectively in each region.
