Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology

Students further their understanding of biology by classifying and recognizing fundamental concepts in anatomy and physiology of the human body. Anatomical terminology, classification of various tissues, identifying essential structures and normal physiological functions of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, immune, cardiovascular and respiratory systems are introduced. Recognition of the digestive and urinary systems further supports the students' transition into the allied health fields.
