In Show 1 students rehearse, perform, and record an original comedy show featuring a mix of stand-up, sketch comedy, and improvisation. Students develop and refine their material through rehearsals, culminating in a live performance at one of Toronto's top comedy venues. Both the creative and technical aspects of comedy production are emphasized. Students will learn essential performance techniques, from mastering comedic timing to engaging with a live crowd, as well as gaining practical experience in producing and recording live comedy shows.
