Students delve into advanced digital hearing aid features on a conceptual and practical level. Students learn how to identify and adjust these features within various manufacturers software and how to explain feature benefits to patients. Students become adept in Bluetooth and wireless accessory options for hearing aids and when to recommend them. This course also teaches students how to verify hearing aid technology according to national hearing aid standards in an electroacoustic analyzer, and how to compare hearing aids to manufacturer specifications.
