This course hones the fundamental skills of hearing device validation and verification by preparing students with the necessary tools for hearing device programming through manufacturer software modules and real ear verification methods. Students explore theoretical and practical examples of hearing device verification to various prescriptive methods and how to fine tune the features appropriately for maximum benefit and patient compliance. Students explain all skills learned in this course in layperson terminology to counsel patients appropriately.
