Humber aims to create holistic and compassionate clinicians and prioritizes interprofessional collaboration. To achieve this goal, students develop their confidence in collaborating with hearing professionals such as Audiologists, Ear Nose and Throat Physicians and Family Doctors. Students explore their role in elder care and end of life care, and how to maintain compassion and professionalism in these sensitive contexts. Various workshops and case studies are evaluated amongst several healthcare programs at Humber so students can learn from their models of care and develop their understanding of a unified circle of patient care.
