This final clinical placement builds on the skills from the previous placement. However, in this course, students are expected to model skills towards real-world practice. Students demonstrate increased independence, forethought, and troubleshooting skills. Students interview clients using appropriate communication strategies and evidence-based questionnaires. By the end of this placement, students demonstrate increased independence and workflow in performing a full audiological test battery and a hearing rehabilitation plan. Students skillfully select, program, and adjust hearing aid programming. Students maintain client charts in accordance with Humber clinic protocol. Lastly, a reflective component allows student to glean from their peers via online discussion forum
