Students will investigate the Ontario Building Code (OBC), understanding the extent of control over all building and services in the province of Ontario. The main investigation will involve Part 9, which focuses on residential construction. There will be an emphasis on permit application requirements with a detailed evaluation of barrier free, tables A1-A37 and means of egress.
