Students will become familiar with wood trim, flooring and wall tiling, specifically within the home renovation field. Some of the non-skilled trades can be substituted by the home renovator in order to be more profitable and efficient. Flooring is considered a non-skilled trade that can be mastered by knowing simple trade secrets and techniques used with different materials. Floor tiling and wall tiling are explored as well as the requirement for interior trim (baseboards, doors, windows).
