This course will provide students with the professional standards and career planning skills required to prepare for their internship and ultimately a career within the events, hospitality, and tourism industries. Students will be introduced to the various career paths available across multiple industry sectors and the key skill sets demanded by today's employers. Coursework will assist students in developing a resume and a digital portfolio. Additionally, students will identify their strengths and how to match them to industry demands. Students will also practice job search strategies and develop networking, career planning, and interview skills.
