This is an introductory course in the principles of drafting and design office practices and procedures. Students will be able to read, understand, use and produce drawings for use in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry using AutoCAD software. Emphasis will be placed on basic projections, isometrics, perspectives, elevations, sections and details. Students will learn to make field sketches as a part of this course.
