Students in this course will identify and apply the key principles associated with Sales and Marketing in Tourism and Hospitality industries from a global perspective. Key areas will include market segmentation, customer driven marketing strategies, sales techniques, distribution channels, branding, market research and product development. Using case-studies, students will analyze the impact of marketing mix in developing marketing plans. Guest speakers from industry and site visits will form an integral part of the course. Students will make presentations in class to demonstrate the key learning outcomes of the course.
