Culturally and Socially Inclusive Understandings of Mental Health

The purpose of this course is to broaden understanding of diverse systems of knowledge, perspectives, and relationships in mental health. Students will learn diverse factors that affect mental health including historical injustices for Indigenous Peoples and stressors associated with migration. They will apply this knowledge to tailor interventions to the specific community and their unique challenges.
