This course provides students with an overview of the range of issues to be considered when implementing a development project utilizing local staff in one or more local offices. Key course topics include setting-up a country office, related agreements and emergency preparedness; vehicles and fleet maintenance; key procurement issues; financial accountability; and transportation, warehousing and distribution systems for procured goods.
