This course introduces students to the subject of three-dimensional forms within the context of industrial design. The course uses examples from art, architecture, nature, and the greater built environment to communicate how manipulating three-dimensional factors can provide solutions to formal design challenges. Students use hands on exercises to explore and evaluate the fundamental principles of the three-dimensional forms.
