Building upon their work in prior semesters, students explore different presentation media including markers, pencil crayon, acrylic and gouache and coloured paper rendering. Fundamental rules of perspective and its effective usage will be revisited to ensure a good working knowledge of same. Projects focus upon the key intent behind a presentation as well as the applied skills displayed. Sketching skills are honed through in-class assignments and the assignment of different sketching modes such as contour drawing and construction techniques. Students employ fonts and graphics to support distinct and varied products. Lectures and presentations challenge the student to develop clear and lucid presentations that describe design intent succinctly and effectively.
