Students study modern communications systems, including the principles of telecommunications and related computer network technologies. Students also learn the technologies of analog and digital communication systems. Students study theories and applications of today's communication systems, including signal modulation and reception, time, frequency and code division multiplexing, data encryption, point-to-point communication, the ISO-OSI reference model, internet protocols, routing and flow control, Internet addressing and domain names, integrated multimedia, and computer networks.
