The Insurance Technology course will introduce students to some of the essential technology and software used in the insurance industry by brokers, underwriters, agents and claims adjusters. Students will learn Applied Systems Technology which is the leading broker management software, and some of the key Microsoft applications used in the insurance industry. The Applied Systems Technology that students will learn include EPIC, a broker management system, Applied Systems Rating a comprehensive rating service, and Policy Works a commercial insurance system. The Microsoft Applications that students will learn include Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills.
