The second in a series of lecture and exploratory based studies on the mechanical and electrical components of a built environment, this course examines commercial building services including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing; safety communications and security systems. Emphasis is placed on ecologically responsible choices. Way-finding and fire suppression and emergency systems will also be investigated.
