Students work collaboratively in production teams applying journalistic skills to generate news stories with text, audio, video, infographics, digital images and all other elements of online as well as print and broadcast presentation for diverse audiences, whether broad or targeted. Adept use of advanced technical equipment both in studio and remotely through mobile technologies, will be a key learning objective. Students will assume various professional journalism roles and responsibilities requiring the application of management and leadership skills in order to achieve optimal team outcomes in the production of news. In addition to faculty assessment of their work and they will also engage in collegial peer critique and self- evaluation.
