This course will introduce students to document applications associated with legal administrative procedures in a family law practice, including domestic contracts and undefended divorce proceedings involving support and division of family property in the Superior Court of Justice and the Family Court of the Ontario Court of Justice. Students will draft correspondence and documents from verbal or brief handwritten instructions and handwritten or edited copy to acceptable standards using DIVORCEmate and Microsoft Word 2010 software.
