This course is comprised of a series of weekly one-hour private lessons relating to their graduation recording project. At the end of the fourth year, students must submit a completed recording portfolio for their Graduation Recording Project that integrates all musical components from composition, improvisation, performance, and arranging techniques, as well as music production, marketing and design. This assembled portfolio will be in the form of a mastered recording project that demonstrates the student s ability to perform, improvise, compose and or or arrange music at a professional level. The recording project will be produced by a fellow student in consultation with a faculty member.
