Video: Production and Promotion

In this course, students will build on skills and knowledge gained in MDCP 104. They will create a creative commercial for a known brand, and a promotional video for a corporate, institutional, or not-for-profit client. Students will produce interviews and news reports captured and edited using DSLR cameras and available video camcorders. They will use Adobe Creative Cloud software to expand their understanding of industry-standard video post-production techniques. Students will also create a project plan and budget to learn how to successfully manage a complex video project.
