In this course, students will build on skills and knowledge gained in MDCM 151 Video: Production & Promotion. They will create a promotional video for a corporate, institutional, or not-for-profit client. Students will also produce a location interview and a news reports. All projects will be captured and edited using DSLR cameras. Students will use Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro editing software, to expand their understanding of industry-standard video post-production techniques. Students will also create a project plan to increase their knowledge of how to successfully manage a complex video project.
