This course introduces students to the principles of planning and working with HTML and Javascript. Through class discussions, critiques, in class exercises and assignments, students conceptualize, plan and build websites. An introduction to WordPress and design fundamentals coupled with the implementation of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) will allow for more control while optimizing the overall look and feel of every web page. This course also focuses on the use of PhotoShop to prepare images for the web. Additional emphasis will be placed on building websites that are as compatible as possible with all platforms and devices.
