Web content is a vital business asset when characterized by thoughtful and strategic approaches to meeting user needs and achieving business objectives. In this course students gain an overview of the emerging practice of content strategy. Students practice reading critically and asking the right questions to explore how content can be improved for an organization. They identify the benefits of a well-considered content strategy for an organization, the people who make it happen, the importance of detailed user research, and the impacts of voice, tone, trend analysis and brand experience for the on-going creation, delivery and governance of quality content.
