Students explore the first critical phases in the content strategy project life cycle: content audit and content analysis, processes that are foundational for great content strategy. Organizations need to know what content they already have, and whether that content is serving its intended purposes towards reaching organizational goals. Students conduct content inventories, qualitative and quantitative analysis of content, SEO and metadata analytics to align content strategy to business goals. Students advocate for a content strategy based on their findings and resulting recommendations.
