MSK & Small Parts Sonography introduces the basic anatomy and scanning techniques for musculoskeletal structures and small parts, including the rotator cuff, breast, thyroid, and scrotum. The course emphasizes foundational knowledge essential for sonographic evaluation of these areas. The lab component focuses on high-frequency linear scanning techniques to evaluate the breast, thyroid, and scrotum, emphasizing their sonographic appearance and required images. The lab also includes analysis of musculoskeletal structures related to the shoulder, knee, and ankle.
