After successfully completing this course, students will be able to design products from conceptualization to product development stage and to create models utilizing industrial software. Students will be able to implement multiple industrial design concepts such as creative design thinking, user-centered design, emotional design, mass customization, packaging, ergonomics, aesthetics, and visual communication in mechanical design.Students will engage in a project in Industrial Design from the perspective of the mechanical designer to satisfy both form and function in communicating design intent. Students will examine industrial design from historical point of view and get working knowledge with contemporary styles and principles.
