Students learn the most recent advanced technologies used in the industry. Students engage first-hand with advanced equipment used for production, prototyping and quality control. Students investigate cyber-physical systems, operator-centric production, and distributed smart-devices and tools. Students learn the techniques to improve productivity and efficiencies in the production process and throughout the supply chain. Students explore intelligent machines and devices that can take corrective action to avoid unscheduled breakdowns of machinery and also individual parts that automatically replenished based on real time data.
