The course builds on the knowledge and skills students acquired in analyzing forces and applies them to dynamic systems. Students will apply the principles of statics and dynamics to the analysis of motion, mechanical loading, energy and power associated with mechanical systems. Applications such as robot manipulator arms and grippers, conveyors, gears, belt and chain drives, hydraulic and pneumatic actuators which will be analyzed throughout the course.
