This ensemble courses will provide a basic training ground for students who are at various improvisation levels in performance. The course is designed to enhance the performer's ability to improvise and perform in a group. Students will have the opportunity to perform as a soloist with a rhythm section and to develop rudimentary small group ensemble skills. There will be an emphasis on exposing students to various forms, key centres, and musical styles.
