This course builds on the skills and knowledge gained in the previous Marketing courses and reviews the concepts of marketing and trade data as it pertains to Canada in a global marketplace. Students examine the scope and challenges in international marketing; the dynamics of international trade; and the impact of culture, economy, politics and international law in identifying and evaluating global marketing opportunities from a Canadian business enterprise viewpoint. It focusses on preparing students to navigate the complexities of international markets by developing global awareness, enhancing strategic thinking in global branding, understanding market entry approaches and highlighting responsible marketing strategies that align with international regulations and ethical considerations.
