The course is an introduction to video and its application in the visual arts as a vehicle for creative expression. Through in-class demonstrations and analysis of contemporary works of video art, students learn the basics of shooting film from lighting to editing. All stages of video production from planning to post-production will be explored through individual and collaborative projects.
