Current digital citizens are being asked to create multiple modalities of content rather than relying on one medium. This course will introduce the fundamentals of video and audio content creation for a digital environment. Students will be introduced to the foundations of video production, audio production, podcasting, editing, and scripting. A focus on storytelling, timelines, and mobile production, will allow students to see how contemporary content creation operates in fields like public relations, digital communications and professional and creative writing.
