Increasingly communications and media professionals are asked to post content across multiple platforms and to execute a variety of tasks, quickly, safely and under a broad range of conditions, with increasingly tight timelines. This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of video production in the fields of journalism, public relations and digital communications. It provides a combination of theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of video shooting, editing, and storytelling. Students are exposed to modern video editing techniques and video production suitable for broadcast and Internet distribution.
