This course is an introduction to photographic conceptualization and practices in a digital environment. Students learn a foundation of photographic techniques and conceptual approaches, from the basic use of cameras and other digital capture devices and related equipment, to means of presentation and methods of interpretation. This course will provide the knowledge and experience to create and discuss strong digital images, through a series of lectures and practical assignments that explore a range of genres of photography.
